Haven Plaza Premiers - Gross Anatomy

Local producer, Adrian Miranda, brought his witty and informative web series, Gross Anatomy to a very enthusiastic audience on Haven Plaza on September 10th, 2021. This screening marked the very first in what we hope will be many more of its kind on Haven Plaza, showcasing both classic crowd pleasers and the creations of local artists.

Vendors include: Ballard's Honey, Body and Soul, Bread Alone, Central Valley Farm, Locust Grove Farms, Morgiewicz Produce, Nolasco's Farm and Prospect Hill Orchard.

Bollard Beautification Project

In an effort to continue to incorporate open, green, and communal spaces in Washington Heights, the Haven Plaza Bollard Art Project has commenced. Haven Plaza is part of New York City's larger plaza program to transform streets spaces into vibrant and accessible places. The art project will feature original designs from Washington Heights based artist Emily Perez who drew inspiration from the early landscape of upper Manhattan. Utilizing the native wildlife (some of which is currently incorporated at the plaza), Emily aims to encourage interactions around environmental stewardship, community and cultural identity. The Bollard Art Project will further that goal for the entire community and the wider public to enjoy.
